Lee has played six games this year and received four the Montgomery Advertiser Player of the Week awards. Up to this point Mike Huntley as hogged the award winning three in the Generals first five games. While Huntley has received noticed for his passing and running, somebody had to be on the other end of those completions.
Marquis “Bubba’ Johnson has finished a three week run of outstanding games and has been rewarded as the Montgomery Advertiser Player of the Week. Bubba’s recognition is probably a result of three weeks of work as his Jeff Davis statistics were the “worst” of these games. This off game that included six receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns. For the season Bubba has topped 700 yards in receiving and ten touchdowns. Please visit the Montgomery Advertiser for the stories relating to Marquis.
Congratulations Bubba on the outstanding recognition.
Another great day to be a Lee General.
