Multiple Teams · Lee Pulls Three Game Sweep from Prattville


The boys JV did what they had to and remain undefeated for the season and the girls varsity and boys varsity put their games out of reach in the first half as Lee swept all three games from Prattville.  The girls scored 48 points in the first half to run out to a 35 point advantage and the boys only allowed Prattville five first half points to seal their deal prior to halftime.

The Lady Generals were led by Deasia Marsh with 15 points, six steals, and five rebounds.  Naya Crawford and A’Jae Nathan added nine points each and Faith Fantroy contributed seven rebounds.  The Young Lady Generals were able rest several key players that have been battling the aches and pains of the cold and flu season and that should help down the road.  The team has appeared to turned the corner and are showing a much more consistent effort in the last few games.  The win improved the Lady Generals to 2-0 in the area and will face Enterprise Friday night at Lee.

The boys put their game away fast by jumping to a 39-5 halftime lead.  They were led on the night by Jon’Detric Butler and Kevontae Ruggs with 11 points each.  Rivers and Bubba each pulled down six rebounds and Ruggs III added five assists and three steals to go along with another thunder dunk.  The boys also improved to 2-0 in the area and face Enterprise Friday night at Lee.
