The Generals baseball team closed out spring break by defeating Lanier 21 – 7 to improve to 11 and 4 for the season. The current hot streak saw the Generals receive top ten votes for the state for the first time in several years.
The 21 run attack was led by bazillion sport star Henry Ruggs III with four hits, three RBI’s, and four runs scored. Jeremy Woodall added three hits, three RBI’s, and a pair of runs scored. Kenneth Timmons and Jared Barlow continued their steady contributions with two hits and two RBI’s each.
The Generals will be back in action March 31st in a doubleheader at Prattville Christian Academy at 3:30.
